I have a few fun projects in the works - one being an official documentation of many of the tacky planters. The ebay & shopgoodwill.com photos are usually nicely inconsistent, but I wanted to make a sort of official record. You'll be the first to see the supah collection. Amongst the newer planters are ... a pipe and even a SHRINER. Who, let me tell you, rivals the bowling man in awesomeness. Hows your summer?

A great tacky planter treasure trove find on the www! The recently discovered Catholic planters page. Wow - even the Infant of Prague is there, and many many more ... so awesome.




So here's the latest tacky planter ... isn't she cute? I think she's an angel, but I guess she could be Mary - she's so cute I couldn't resist ... It's hard to really call her tacky because she's so cute, but I think her falsey eyelashes are the qualfier.

Major victory in the land of tacky planters!!! MAJOR VICTORY I TELLS YA. Check the 50's teens on the phone matching love seat tacky planters. This is the most I have ever spent $19.99 for both. Despite the great expense - I think it must be a good use as any for leftover birthday money. Go team. I plan to pot something in them upon their arrival. I brought my whale tacky planter and my owl headvase style tacky planter in to live on my desk at work. They make me happy all day sitting there staring back at me. I was graciously given two violets from my friend "Hot Donna" and one went to live in the whale. I still need to decide which planter to use for the second one. Have you seen the awesome shamrocks being sold in the grocery store for st. patty's day lately? I picked up a black shamrock (Oxalis Triangularis) and it is totally badass. The last shamrock plant I had lived for about 3 years in the badass telephone tacky planter.

I have to stop buying super cute tacky planters because the cuteness impinges on the tackyness. Just the same, here's the latest. I think we're still in tacky land since it is a shoe created for the purpose of having some kind of plantlife to live inside... eBay now has such a huge selection that you can type on "owl planter" or "boston terrier planter" or even "phone planter" and many results turn up. It's pretty fun - give it a try.

Here's the latest tacky planter to add to the tacky planters. She's so cute - they usually have the opening in the back or the top of the head, but she's supposed to look like she's carrying a bouquet which I found to be pretty cute. Also - a different name brand company than those I've found before - go team!

SCORE! ebay owl! go team. I don't know if it's a planter or not - but I'm sure to enjoy it - yay!
