Warhol Kitchen

This is pretty much completely fabulous: The Warhol Kitchen
I still love Andy. And I love the fact that the dude got all his posters for the kitchen at 40% off. Go team!

Sear's? Sear's? You work there! Look at the sign!

Working at a newspaper has nurtured my love for abuse of the English language.

Hot Chicks with Douchebags simply said. I know Booka will be amused by documentation of the douches.

True Stories

I love this movie. I had lent it to a friend who had it while his apartment burned. Sigh. I will find it in the bargain bin again someday.
Here's one of my very favorite scenes:

insulin pump progress

the box from insulet is in my guest room.
i was too overwhelmed to even open it today. my husband opened it with me, we looked at like two items inside the box and i was, again, overwhelmed and asked my husband to put it in the guest room
It is such a big huge deal to me. And not a little bit scary. WIth the economy as it is, it’s scary to commit to a new system. I’m definitely going to do it. Mom offered her help and so we can actually afford it! IT’s going to be a little more each month in prescriptions, but worth it. In case you’re wondering about the cost – it would have been out of reach for us if not for my mom. We would have had to do monthly payments of some type. It wound up being a $350 deductible which had to be paid into, then my insurance would only cover 80% which totaled about $700. It’s actually the cheapest newer insulin pump out there!!
So. That’s where I am. Scared of the damned thing. I’ll get through it. I can’t use it until I’m trained anyway. Just very very overwhelming right now.
