Animal Haüs

I know a troublemaker who showed emailed me the above photo of a bunny. Now I have bunny on the brain. This was a Hotot rabbit that was shown at the fair (which I failed to go to this year even though I had a pass). I don't know a thing about keeping a rabbit, and last week I decided to not expand the family with a goldfish. (I always wind up hating the world when they die -- and that usually happens when I reluctantly give them a name.) So I think I should just look at this picture of the cutest bunny ever. Sigh.

Rumor Control

Yes, I 'd like to address some of the issues from the thousands of email questions I get every day, and instead of an FAQ, I'd like to answer them here...

Rumor: Do you have a plant hospital?

Answer: Yes, this is true, I have a plant hospital on a lesser-used section of my kitchen counter. Some plants do really well around me, but some are real jerks, they turn brown or they shrivel or they lose all their leaves just to taunt me and make me think of all the money I spent on them. Right now there are a lot of healthy plants mixed in, but the one worst off is a Creeping Charlie.

So, it feels like we are living in a furniture warehouse here in our new place (Yes, we moved, I haven't mentioned it because it was so iffy for the last 4 or 5 months!) I did manage to make a crazy golfball cake for my dad's birthday. Which was not photographed and which also had about 1/3 left over which was also eaten by a big mouse in the hosue named Adam.

Here's a cake I made at Christmastime for our company party and I forgot to post. No one ate any because as my friend said- it was too pretty.
