So, I've been knitting my brains out lately. Tons of cool hats to keep you (or your friend's) head warm this winter! Fun gift! This hat and others like it will be in the supah shop shortly. Say that ten times fast. Do you like?

Here's another nice thing to do if you're a knitter- The Merchant Marines need lots of stuff to keep them warm all winter, so people from all over are hand knitting scarves & hats for people who work lonely and dangerous jobs on the oceans and rivers. How nice is that? Apparently, the tradition started during the Spanish American war and is still going on. How nice is that?  Here's a page of free patterns for the knit donations.

Oh I love this idea-- knitting for kids in need: The Trauma Teddy as seen on jima's sis's livejournal! Aw!

Don't ever shoot kittens with rubber bands unless it's an online game and no kitties actually get hurt.

Why are little things cute? I should have written my art school masters thesis on this topic. Instead I wrote a computer program that involved a touch screen monitor that I had to beg my parents for for a christmas gift. What a loser!
