I'm totally excited about the upcoming Loosetooth Cookbook! She is also raising money for America's Second Harvest, so buy one when the cookbook is finished cooking (I'll remind you!).

I dare you to make one of these this year for halloweenie. I'd bet you'd get sweaty boot rash. But I also bet you'll see these shoes on the runways soon.

If I had no boobies & could go topless, I might have attempted this costume this year. Wow!

Adam replaced my broken camera, thank you Adam! Here's two photos that were sitting in the memory for a few months. I think that car was headed for the demolition derby. The lamps were all racecar drivers except for one eagle. No Last Supper ones---though I did find one at a different place but didn't have my camera on me.

The "tropicana orange" roses don't look orange unless they're sitting next to the pink roses. But they're still really pretty. They were less than $3.00 for each rose bush! We have probably gotten about a dozen from each rose bush. They were also a lot easier to grow than I thought. I don't know how to over winter them, that's the next challenge.

I am a big fan of Lion Brand yarn. I like that they put "Brand" in the brand name. Plus I wanted an excuse to post this cute kitten playing with a ball of yarn. I think I'm going to whip up this hat soon hopefully this weekend.

RIP Rodney, aw, I loved Rodney. I even had an internet brush with fame with him. Half of my favorite people are dead. Funny coincidence: in the last week I have heard two separate newscasters bring up the "Triple Lindy" as an impossible one-time feat. Maybe this will wind up in the Houghton Mifflin book of Idioms?
Favorite part of the Venture Brothers theme: the spinning skull, also the umlaut super hero guy ala the heavy metal umlaut. Did I spell umlaut right? If not, it's the little ¨ thingie. Yöü gët ït.

I've always liked trios (Morphine, Violent Femmes, etc.) I'm amazed at what can come from just three people. Check out Chicago's The Pindrops. They let you have a listen for free! Can't beat that. Can't beat that with a stick.

I think I have found the perfect gift for my parent's 30th wedding anniversary. I don't know if they would prefer it framed or to just tack it onto their bedroom door.
