I have picked up Don Quixote again and it is a lot of fun. It's just a lot of reading, nothing to be scared of. Still, I'm only to page 200 of about 1,000 pages.

OK, so here's a bandwagon I jumped on : the whole teeth whitening trend thingie, Adam & I bought two different kinds of whitening toothpaste, and guess what? It hurts like hell! I am sposed to brush for two whole minutes each time and my gums hate me! I think I brush too hard or something, that or Simply White uses tiny gnomes with tiny daggers to whiten your teeth.

Poor mom's kitten is sick!

I keep wanting to call her Pinky, or Stinky Pinky. Well, she has been getting along famously with Oslo, but with Pussy Galore, it's a lot of hissing. I noticed she had a funny looking scar on her belly so I took her into the vet yesterday, she has an infection so now I'm giving her antibiotics, aw! Kitten medicine! Poor kitty. P.S. I wish I had a new photo of her, but my camera had a battle with diet coke and lost.

P.S. We're cat-sitting mom's brand new kitten this week, while she's in Lost Wages. I'm officially a "kitty lady" with more than two in the house. She's getting along famously with Oslo, but PG is pretty upset about this latest annoyance. Kitten cat food is so very tiny and so very cute (just like the kitten.)

Look how pretty these Living Wreaths are, all succulents. Too bad I kill succulents (Kalanchoe & Jades) every time I try one out...

On a sereous note, Out of the Pit is a documentary on dog fighting in Chicago. We used to get WTTW when we first moved here, unfortunately our channel lineup has changed. I won't be able to see this, but it's probably a good thing. I HATE that people do things like this. I see in my own neighborhood how popular Pit Bulls are, I wonder if these "tough" guys are fighting them. It's so sad! It's so stupid!
