Why Indiana sucks. Sorry to Maggie FBK & Liz because she's from Crown Point but that doesn't count because it's really East Chicago. Not Indiana. Ok. First- I don't know how much it costs to put up street corner signs, but in every other state on every other street- they're there. Also- get with the frickin' timezone people. I think you think it's cute to not have Daylight Savings, but it's not. One last thing: the people on the Michigan side of the border will say that they live in "Michigan" while the people on the Indiana side of the border claim to live in "MICHIANA". Go figure.

One of the characters I've met at work is a guy named Pastor Josh. He runs a local youth ministry and theforce.net. When he said he was a fan I asked him how often he uses star wars metaphors in his surmons. He said sometimes.

My drive to work is awesome. It's mostly a winding country road. Some things I've seen along the way, a lil' pony, a poor kitty that got hit by a car, a little farm that has like two of everything and cute sheep, a lady's house that has a million lawn ornaments but no grass, an organic farm, an abandoned factory, a corner dairy queen and a big stone gate that leads to an empty field. I'll take my camera with soon.

Ok America, what's up with punk nouveaux crap? punk now ='s preppy! One example I can think of is the "fauxhawk" with pink hair dye ala American Idol people that still smell of the Mickey Mouse Club. I think the latest ugly shoe trend that will unfortunately catch on as quick as the ultra low rise buttcrack jeans are these fugly pizza-toed shoes for the summer.

Really freakin' weird. Tonight I went #1 in our downstairs toilet and after flushing glanced down to see something shiny in the bottom of the water. It was a big silver spoon! It wasn't from our pattern of fiesta silverware so it definitely wasn't something we brought. I made Adam get it. He gets a gold star for brave toilet excavation! Something I'm going to wonder is how long was it there, and whose it was, but the biggest mystery: how did poops get past the spoon? Our house has a wonderous toilet.

wheeeeeeeeee! Adam hit his head (hard!) at least 3 times today and so I heard CRRRASH!!! "AOW GODDDAMMIT sTUPID MIDGETS RULE THE WORLD" two floors down. Will that make our kids stupid? Poor Adam. I haven't hit my head here yet but I'm sure it's coming to me since I'm telling everyone about it.

Yeah, so as andrew pointed out to me, there's only 12 Koreans in Niles- but how man dutch italians, are there? Anyhow, I took quick sketches of them when they came over tonight to watch Caddyshack with Adam & I. I also took a shower with The Korean Mr. T. Do I miss culture? Yes, but I'm going to make my own I figure. Any advice?

Hey gang- I'm still alive and living in a different state in a bigass house! My commute to work is passing tons of cows in fields instead tons of cows in starbucks. I love it! Adam is looking for work (AGAIN!)-skittish but happy. We have so much space it's not even funny. We live in downtown Niles, MI by a Dixie Cream Donut Shoppe, two funeral homes, a big ole church of undeterminable denomination & lots of crazy black guys that moved from Chicago with us. Living in a house is awesome, and so is the new gig- it's extremely busy and that's a good thing. Our house was not ready when we moved in Sunday- we had no carpet (anywhere), no electricity on the second floor, the dishwasher was sitting in the middle of the kitchen. Kinda like camp for the first few nights but now we have cable so everything has changed. I'm looking forward to making some art here, now I can stretch out and get my hands dirty with that-yay! So hows by youse?
