I must have watched a TON of cartoons growing up, I found the Cartoon Themes from the 80's & 90's Page, and it scares me because I remember most of the songs up until 1994 when I moved to Chicago to go to college.

Really, it's harder than it looks. My record was 6 squares left. I probably played it 100 times last night!

Ok, so probably only Illinois people will understand this, but Rebecca has the GREATEST easy Halloween costume idea! But don't worry: you can use her idea with any local person running for office!!!
I also found a real Cow Dog.

See what I did with my extra hour this weekend:
baby's got a new pair of shoes.
I know it doesn't make sense, in other words, supah.com's home/index page has been redecorated. I hope you like it.

I found a little Wesley Willis song generator (bottom of page).
Bummer. I found out this afternoon that due to the budget in his department, his contract probably won't be renewed in January. This is some really bad timing, we have a lot of things we're slowly paying off and I know we won't be able to do it with only my salary. This might be a good time to move to a new city.
There's a $107.00 USED tube top here, I'm with this guy.

My cousin's class is having their reunion soon, she wanted me to go to the reunion's site to tell her who was going to be there, check it out, it's going to be a raucous party: RSVP list.
Power UP with Jesus!™ And don't forget to peruse the rest of the site. Thanks, again, to the rubbernun.

Another thing I didn't know, Adam and I can consume one half of an Elvis Meatloaf in one meal. Ughhhhhhhhh.... I don't think I had as much as Adam did, but it kinda feels like it. Well, I put ketchup on mine, so maybe that added that extra feeling of ughhhhhhh...
You're not an emo kid unless you've made it onto the OnlyUndiesClub at least that's what I read here & here. I didn't know there was a term for these people, emo. Weird. I'm too old at 26 to really understand, I do understand that these people all look like my buddies from saic & mica.

The church I went to growing up had a large amount of Polish families. Growing up there, you got treated the greatest Polish foods at graduation parties, weddings, baptisms etc. For years I haven't had a golabki, I didn't know how to spell it since its pronounced glumpkey. Today, I finally found a recipe. THEY ARE SOOOOO GOOOD! Warning: when you boil the cabbage, it makes your whole house smell skunky: Golabkis. Another big Michigan/Polish tradition happens on Mardi Gras, aka Fat Tuesday involving a special kind of polish doughnut called a Paczki pronounced "Poonch-key". Here's an article about Paczkis & other regional foods.

Related news: from W I L C O's site They're putting Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on vinyl! I can't wait. It is a great album, and I think it will sound even better on a record player.

This is a recent addition to our family, the Zenith Stereophonic High Fidelity Phonograph with FM-AM-Stereo FM Tuner. My grandmother had a stroke last year and had to move out of her apartment, she gave it to us. I love it. Thank you grandma.

One comic book artist that I totally admire and love, Tony Millionaire, has decided to do something so very smart & crafty. What could it be, you ask? He used some highly professional cats in his latest panel. I tried to trade one of the business cat paintings with him, though he doesn't do trades, he said he did like them. So maybe I influenced him? I'll just pretend it's true whether it is or not. I'm a weirdo.

YEA! Since I can't get on the live feed from KPOA anymore, I found KKCR Kaui Community Radio. Life is better if you listen to island music.
I have to say something about this because I think it is pretty funny. Well, Andrew brought up Smiths tribute bands and wondered if there were any. Not only are there some, but there's a bunch, with extremely funny names, like: Dead Pop Stars who are from the Phillippines, TWO cover bands named These Charming Men, The Joneses, The Salford Lads, Small Town Playboys, Sweet and Tender Hooligans, The Other Smiths, and drumroll please: Drowning Is Nice They beat the rest HAND DOWN of the list on Smithyness. FIVE STARS FOR YOUR SMITHS COVER BAND NAME!

Retro Beauty Magazine
Fun! Though not updated. It doesn't have to be, I guess, since it is about Retro Beauty. I'm going to attempt to cut my own hair tonight. I might go for some Betty Page bangs with streaks of light & dark. Yes I'm serious, you silly! I know that hair grows, so I'm not overly worried. Am I bold or stupid? We'll see.

Joey the Cowpolka King it is! Thats the Imac's name. This weekend I stayed in my pajamas, yes, the whole weekend. We played the Sims and pretended to be us. My character had 50 more showers than I actually did. Gross. We're broke now. Irony: our tv broke this weekend too, so, though we can't pay for it being fixed, we have something to do.

I'm a new member at MindsIsland.com, I won a little contest on guessing what the snippet of a painting up close was and now here I am!
Announcing the birth of our new Imac, first turned on at 9:06pm October 10, 2002, what should we name her? I'm voting for Tourmaline which is the pooter's birthstone. That or Joey the Cowpolka King.

Have you ever been to Stanley's Fruits & Vegetables in Chicago? It's the greatest. So cheap. We had fried zucchini the other night. YUM. If you make this, let the zucchini brown, it doesn't sound like a good thing for a fresh veggie, but trust me. Its SO good and super easy and super cheap!

Every time I fall asleep at my desk I see things like this but with HTML mixed in.
Leann found this site, I love We Are You. It would be a great one if it weren't for Cindy Sherman doing the exact thing already in photographic format. (quicktime)
By the way, I forgot to post what Adam said after the Chicago Bears lost last night. He said:
I told him, he's all about the drama.
I want to paint one of the (deck) posts in the back yard green and yellow and beat it with a bat!
I told him, he's all about the drama.

Here's a painting I did that was pretty much pure decoration/fun. I had leftover kitchen wall paint from an old apartment, so that's all the yellow you see. It reminded a friend of Jessica Abel's seasons who I actually used to know. This actually did come from something, this Gocco print which was I think the first thing I ever made with the Gocco.
Ok. Because I had written about the krazy squirrel that was checking us out yesterday morning, I had dreams all night that other random things were peering over the fence next to out bedroom window. I blame myself.

The cats were flippin' out this morning, I couldn't figure out why their heads were locked on one spot in the sky. Was it a bird? Was it a plane? No it was a squirrel about 2 feet from the window on the fence. I guess it just came by to say hi and to freak out the cats.
Someone in Chicago is putting on a new musical called Evil Dead: The Musical!. It's at the Rowhouse theatre, tickets are $15.00. It sounds really funny.
