amy and adam's wedding picture!
I can't believe we've been married for a whole year now! I wish I could go back to that day (April 27, 2001) and do it over again. I wish I could have spent time with each person, but it was really like your life story in a blender. Adam and I are going to a bed and breakfast in Galena, IL tonight & Saturday.
Can you beleive it's been a whole year? I haven't even changed my name (ss card) yet! What a lazyass I am.

ronnie woo!
Ok so if you tell everyone you're making a documentary about one of the coolest characters in chicago history, you should at least do it and not fake us all out.
Can you sue people for faking you out like that? Was that what the hot coffee at McDonald's lady did?

Rodney Alan Greenblat updated his Center For Advanced Whimsy, AKA whimsyload.com. He's big in Japan. I want to be big in Japan too. I wrote to him once asking him about it, and here's what he said back:

There are a lot of reasons why I do well in Japan.
I think the main reasons are that I am friendly and very patient.

Could you be big in Japan? Why not?

Fun+

Paducah Artist Relocation Program
I'm thinking of somewhere to move to. I'll bet Paducah is really boring, but it has such a cool name. Me and the Quiltguild.

This PERPETUAL BUBBLEWRAP makes me think that it's no fun unless it's real. Also that life is short--but it's probably a good thing that it is.
One of my co-worker's sister makes this awesome Sewn Stationery. I love it! No illinois stores :(

I got you some flowers for spring! I heart you!
Online listening pleasure: W I L C O a recent live show at the Elrey theatre in california, I think.....

No, I haven't planted anything this spring yet. I guess if I had, I would use a pop cloche because its still kinda cold out. I think I should freak out my upstairs neighbor who is somekind of landscape designer-- setting up doll heads in each pop cloche.

Isn't this a stupid graphic? It's my friend Mike's doggie I stole it for much needed inspiration at work.... I was laughing when I made it. And that keeps me happy at my job.

boycrazy trading cards
Psst!
I'll trade you a Chase for a Dale!
*SIGH* It's April in Chicago, and it's still cold out. It's really making me crazy.
I'm thinking about planting my spring garden soon, but this year I've got a plan: to hot glue fake flowers into my garden containers so that when it snows next fall everyone will think that I know some kind of gardening trick in which my garden blooms all winter. The truth is I'll probably break down and get the cookie-cutter impatiens again.

OH WON'T YOU BUY ME A SAUSAGE KITTY!?!?!???
I wish my dreawing style were more like "My Heart Broke in Hollywood". I've been thinking a lot about starting some kind of comic art or whatever lately. One thing I did Monday night was write a short movie for Adam to film. I hope he does it because it would be pretty funny. It involves a guy named Jellybean.
Meg made a new portfolio. Check out those glutes.

Ghost World was so awesome. It was so much like my middle school, high school & art school lives combined I wanted to cry. Oh I wish my old friends Vicky Mahnke, Frances Adams & Becky St. John would watch it and tell me if they thought the same way about it. Frances actually had the first copy of Eightball that ever was (I think).
5 golden stars! P.S. Check out "Weird Al"'s site The guy is truly weird.
