I finally went to the doctor Friday. I took a year off and I was pretty naughty with my sugar testing. I feel better that I went, I have been testing a lot (3-4X's/day) and working out. I still wish I didn't have this krap to deal with, but I am in an exclusive club with BB!

I had a 3 day weekend, which was a great thing because my work computer has been a real bad influence on my temper. Over the weekend I tested my patience with the use of my sewing machine in creating a new pair of pants plus a new shirt. Shirts not done yet tho.

For Valentine's day I surprised Adam and took him to dinner at Trader Vic's
The tiki drinks were soooo strong, and it was quite expensive, but it was well worth it. There was even a gardenia in my drink and they gave me a pin-on orchid besides! They were so nice. DANCE, RUMMY!

A cute article about one of my painting teachers & his (photographer) wife falling in love & getting married at age 67! John Miller was a really really funny guy in class, he totally was un-interested in digging way deep into critiques, and it was appreciated... I can't remember who was in this class with me. I don't think any of my friends were because I remember I got a lot of stuff done... it was like open studio painting I in the back of the museum...

thank you card I sent this to mom for her and dad coming and visiting me for my birthday. We went to Buca di Beppo's and the food was piled up high to the cieling. I splurged and had Tiramisu.
